  2. thanks!!!!! do you know me?? lol im notorious for just grabbin stuff n headin for the register. u know plaster of paris is cheap n works awesome for making rocks or stone. its soft enough to carve before it fully cures and gives some nice textures when painted. i had totally forgotten about bravestarr that looks like a fun one to build
  3. i was wrong guys they were 14.99 at target. yea i just kinda grabbed em n ran to the register
  4. got the first three as well here in austin, yep 19.99. got em at the ole target. there wasnt many. luckily the packaging was a bit bent so the ones i got were still there

  7. ill definitely try that. the background is black velvet, that stuff seems to absorb light well. i should have some more up soon. i have a few more repaints with a bit of sculpting ill post soon. im also looking into casting. ive done jewelry casting beforein sterling and brass. im gonna see if i can handle plastics casting. thanks for the compliments and advice
  8. heres my 2nd one, its rock krusher from the 1980s cartoon cops n crooks. it was made using marvel universe absorbing man, sculptey n paints
  9. beautiful work, ive only been through a few posts n have learned quite a bit
  10. heres my first try at customs. Dr. Manhattan from Watchmen. i used marvel universe constrictor and some sculptey. a couple shades of blue paint, a bit of white n this is what i came out with. sorry i suck at photos
  11. amazing work, i really like the paint work on the gray suit. heck all of it. i havent been able to get my figures to the point they are fully mobile. you got some friggn skills!!
