SE- Awesome looking fig terrific hopefully those knives on his chest will be removable
Spirit- I see what some of u guys are saying about the jaw line but I think he looks pretty darn good overall
Wild Bill- great look and I love the pearl handles revolvers
HISS Driver- not to wired about this guy, he looks good and I'll probably get at least 1 but he doesn't appeal to me as much
Viper- The hand pre-posed like that really detracts form him and does anyone else think if u take the vest off that he's gonna be real skinny underneath?
looks like this is gonna be a great wave, I'm looking forward to it, and hopefully they will show pics of Major Bludd soon

Still great wave. The 2008 line up is very impressive. Now if we can get an airborne and a few of the other early years joes, I will be quite content.

I'm glad it's SE ver 3 instead of 4, I like how Spirit actually looks Native American with his broader features. HISS Driver looks sweet as does Viper (I hope they adjust those hands). Wild Bill: yes! And I like the idea of Duke with the jetpack and American flag, just don't like the colors.
Can't wait to see Bludd, he's a personal favorite.
Yo Joe!

Snake Eyes, Wild Bill, and HISS Driver are the highlights for me, but I will be grabbing one of each. So much coming out this year - just wish I could find Wave 1 - '08 or Wave 2 Comic packs in store.

Probably have to agree with that. I'd prefer to not get new characters with older vehicles (but I guess I will with Crankcase and Grand Slam). If original drivers are released with vehicles - I'd want them to be updates/new sculpts.

Duke - White shirt is kinda unusual but guess they just wanted to get the jetpack out (I presume the flag will come with that's not just a creative digibash on gijoeclub's part.
Wild Bill - Pure awesome
Snake Eyes - Interesting and probably one of the first of his repaints I sorta feel like wanting, though the shades look a little too Black Spidey (thought they were more goggle like?)
Spirit - I've kinda been waiting for Spirit, but he looks like a cigar indian. I even thought momentarily that those ammo cartridges were boxes of cigars. >_< His face seems to have the same wide jawbone thing going on like a lot of the females have.
HISS Driver - This is probably the least interesting one for me.
Viper - Slightly better interest for this one, but I might still go without either of these Cobras this wave. His helmet looks removable which'd be a nice touch though.
So guess there's a tiny amount of counterbalance for those of you who really want that HISS Driver and Vipers, at least around my local area.

I sincerely doubt Hasbro puts that kind of illogic into their products. If Hasbro was concerned about not pissing fans off, they'd include a HISS driver with the HISS, *and* on a single card. So no, speculation in that direction doesnt lead anywhere.
The fact is, the Target exclusives were a last-minute thing, and Hasbro's doing it solely with repaints - using molds that were on-hand at the time that the deal was struck. The HISS Driver obviously wasn't on the table at that point, so we got a repainted Officer. I don't imagine the thought process went any further than that, honestly. Certainly not to the extent that Hasbro worried about pissing off a small group of fans that want to army build Drivers without a vehicle to drive.

Spirit: I love the new accessories. He turned out better than I thought he would.
Wild Bill: He looks perfect.
Snake Eyes: He's the best of this wave. What is the small silver thing? It looks a little like night vision goggles. He also has the other belt/strap with a loop on it, maybe to hook something onto it.
HISS Driver: He looks fine. I wonder if he has been made to easily fit in the old HISS.
Viper: I hate the hands/wrists. As long as his lower arms will turn I can look past the weird angle, I hate NEO arms. If he has a removable helmet and vest that will make up for the hands.

Also not sure if this has been mentioned but if they do Law and Order they can reuse that vest from Wild Bill.
These all look great

As is, I really think that figure was initially designed for Major Bludd (or the torso anyway), and his delay may have more to do with the factory being unable to get both figures out at once than any tweaking on Hasbro's part. Same with Bill, I think Hasbro felt far more comfortable about pushing back a single card figure rather than delay a comic pack (especially with the Doc promotion going on)

After a long absence filled with a busy semester of college and some personal issues that have gotten in the way, I'm back to give my review to this wave.
Duke: Maybe my eyes are playing tricks here, but he looks like he'd fit in more for Winter Ops, though the jetpack would be useful to give to some other character(like Stalker perhaps).
Snake Eyes: At least Hasbro was kind enough to make Snake Eyes a homage to a different version, as opposed to just another repaint. I like how this figure looks.
Wild Bill: The only thing bothering me about the figure is his glasses. The lenses should have been spaced a little further apart...because he looks more like some Hollywood star.
Spirit: This is the best version of Spirit to date, bar none. He deserved a better version even though I didn't care for him much.
HISS Driver: This figure looks great. A true homage to the original and at least we get two great versions of this figure. Also, he can potentially be customized and used for the Rip It character.
COBRA Viper: The arms look really thin and the helmet doesn't quite fit the original's look. Maybe if he has a different head and different set of arms someone can customize him into an Alley Viper.
Getting these figures is definitely not a priority for me...in fact, there are plenty of figures higher on my list that I want.

Only going by Hasbro's statement, they say they're still tweaking him. But if the pics surface, and Major Bludd shares the torso mold with HISS Driver, I'll agree it was a matter of not being able to produce two figures with a single mold for the same production run.

Oh and for the record.......I love that Duke.....I know its just the flag and the Jetpack but still....I think the figure looks really sharp for some reason.
