  1. try harder.....we know you can do it. Sorry, I put "hard to" when I should have said "I won't."
  2. Hard to get excited for figures I'll never see due to piss poor distribution.
  3. It's an old marketing "rule." Number 2 tries to separate itself from number one by downing them. Number 1 just sits there and says, "hey, we know you know we're the best, so keep enjoying it." And as long as they don't break some sort of copyright rule or something they can use their product if they want. The reason you see stuff burred out on tv (reality shows and such) is because whoever's making that show doesn't want to give them free advertising when they could sell it.
  4. He's one from the earlier waves I NEVER saw at retail. I ended up ebaying him. I still haven't seen Supergirl or Black Superman at retail but I also haven't even seen those waves anywhere but once. Unfortunately the TRU next to my work has had 6 Supes, 3 Scarecrows, 2 Parasites, and 1 Kal-El warming the pegs for exactly a month. No one has bought a single one of them literally. I know because I'm there about 3 times a week. I'm wondering if I should just go ahead and ask if there's more in the back. The Targets near me are all littered with the terrible Superman figures that are just the repaints from the Batman 2-pack a couple years back. Each one has about 6 of them.
  5. I saw it last night and I have to disagree, I thought it was leaps and bounds ahead of the first one, and blows Ghost Rider out of the water. This one actually made me care about the characters. Granted like you said, it's not Shakespeare but everyone seemed to hit their role so much better this time (Reed and Sue especially). This is a movie that definitely knows it's roots. It's about a dysfunctional superhero family, which save for moments here and there has never been all too serious and this movie finds the perfect balance between action, comedy, and storytelling. This is one of the better Marvel movies out in some time IMO. Dare I say best summer movie so far? At least the most fun if nothing else.
  6. There's plenty of action in it, I thought it was great. I didn't even know the rating it got. I thought it was a great F4 movie, and the best comic movie I've seen in some time. It just had that balance to it, enough humor, enough action, no drag...Maybe it's the initial afterglow still, but I just really enjoyed it.
  7. I just got back from seeing it, and I loved it. Heck my wife even liked it. I even heard a kid, who's undoubtedly seen Spidey 3 and Pirates say it was his favorite movie so far. I think it's the best Marvel movie since X2. Just my opinion though. I haven't been that pleased after a movie in some time. *SPOILER* Unless I missed something, he's a huge cloud, although at one point you see his shadow and you can make out the silouhuette of his classic helmet look. It worked great though, of course I'm convinced that him in his classic form would've looked ridiculous on the big screen.
  8. So who are you making? Metallo?
  9. They have that in the Superman: Through the Ages set, he's a little skinny IMO though. If the JLA one is too "angry" for you, the one from the Superman line is the same body with a more boy scout face.
  10. That's supposed to be the June wave I believe.
  11. I like the JLA Superman and Hush Bats (original still looks the best IMO), but that's just me.
  12. Not often you get to say that. But I don't mind the one from the two pack for display with DCSH stuff, especially since I usually leave most of my stuff in one pose for awhile.
  13. The Aquaman Pilot is also on Xbox Live for download in HD. And it would've been Mercy Reef.
  14. Very nice, only thing I'd comment on is the baggy pants look on Bizzaro.
