Hello, I was told by a friend that the 5 inch Spiderman 3 line included a Shocker and a Black Cat....I did not know this! Has anyone seen them...or better yet....are they worth hunting down? Thanks in advance for the help and responses!

Recently a poll was conducted for the time spent by TNI members on their collection..... To my surprise...I found that over 30% of the respondents spend 20 hours or more per week with their collections...this would include all aspects, this forum, posing, looking at, playing with etc..... Now I am interested to know just how much money we are spending on our action figures on a monthly basis....this can include the figures themselves, displays etc...(let's leave the comic purchases out though). It is likely that we spend more money when new series come out...but for the sake of the poll, simply average it out for each month (or more simply stated, collect a years total and divide by 12). Once again....this poll is not to judge anyones spending habits, but simply to get a look at our collective buying power.

Having A Marvel(ous) Time...Wish You Were Here!

It is pretty amazing that over 30% of responders are spending 20 hours and over (added up all the responses over 30 hours) on collecting..... Basically...half a full time job or more! I wonder if Hasbro...or other toy companies for that matter....realize just how important this stuff is to us..... I am interested in this as it leads to the next topic....$ MONEY $......... -
I think it is obvious that since a forum like TNI exists that we enjoy our collections alot. We like to see them, talk about them and are excited to hear upcoming news about new characters. We like to complain when the character is not what it should be or to make suggestions to a company for improvements. We get together at conventions and spend our money in honour of our enjoyment. For some of us a great deal of our lives is spent thinking about, reading about, searching for and just plain enjoying our collections......But just how much time is it that you spend? The questions attached to this poll are not meant to judge anyone. They are meant to provide a baseline if you will, for a Marvel Collectors time. So add it up Marvel Fans.....with your reading and posing and picture taking or any darn thing you do with your collection, just how much time are you using?

MarvelousNews Database Requests / Ideas / Thoughts?
Superwonderlantern replied to Ryno's topic in Marvel
Hey Marvel Fans..... I liked the diorama suggestion...I have seen some of the ones that members here have.....pretty cool...perhaps they will lend their photos... Also liked the team idea but add a "cut out" showing the missing (and therefore needed) figures to complete the team......for example, a Nighthawk figure would round out the Defenders, as we already have Hulk, Dr. Strange, Silver Surfer and coming soon Valkaryie...of course once this happens I will be needing Hellcat and the Demon (ok...i can do without demon). Lastly, although an ardourous task, have a photo with each version of the character that Marvel has produced in one shot....this would mean taking a lot of photos and many many updates, but the cool factor would be high for me. -
Very nice that you found these.....it is moments like this that make collecting so much fun! Yes, we are jealous, but I add my congratulations!

JEDI = Be nice and post SITH = Whining, complaining or otherwise raining on the parade....If you are not going to be nice, don't post.... Did I get that right Ares? Done with the interpretation and on with my comment...... Liking the Hydra Agents intensely....can anyone say if there will be different body scuplts to go with the head sculpts?..... As as a sidebar, the advertisement in last Toyfare showing Cap fighting all of those agents was great! Hasbro had best make some extra Hydra flunkies.....Baron Strucker in Hydra greens is needed.

not really considering the first time we saw storm was on the cover of Giant Size X-men in her costumed version. Ya I was kind of stumped with that one, but I'm glad you covered my !@#$ tarot. #US1# Good call lol. Geez....you guys blew it....what with this rumour of Hasbro listening to fans and showing skin (see green trunk Namor) we had a golden opportunity to push this one through....

Legendary Comicbook Heroes
Superwonderlantern replied to heroforhireshan's topic in General Toy Talk
Very nice pics..... I got the set from a Wal Mart in Ontario Canada......no Judge Death (by reading other posts it seems a lot of case assortments are getting these though) , Dragon and Super Patriot variants ... The Dragon looks great! The variant is a much better look than the bare chest....(which I have)....what do you think about the finger articulation? Pretty cool eh? Are you jazzed about the Witchblade though? I think it is a pretty bad figure actually...the old Witchblade 6 inch while not articulated, is a very good looking figure. And of course I can tell you are loving the PITT....it is now my favourite BOF right after the Sentinel... -
I got them myself....I love PITT and Savage Dragon is pretty good too as is Patriot....Madman is nicely done......the Witchblade is not so good.....but Toy Biz (now Marvel Toys) has not had much luck with female figures with "witch" in the name.....
