  1. 1. Lobo, Skeletor 2. USA 3. When the item is in stock they get an A... but i haven't been able to buy any MOTU since Skeletor, scalpers buy up everything within a day of release... so they get a big fat F since I can't buy the product and refuse to buy from scalpers.
  2. I don't like the peg hangers being open on the top, sure it cuts down on torn cards slightly, but they look ugly and they could have just re-inforced the orignal peg holes with plastic as well.
  3. I picked up MOSC Takara Scarlett and un-assembled Takara Vamp jeep with Clutch still in bubble. G1 Trypticon complete, very nice, still walks. $125 Complete Japanese TF manga collection... huge book $20 Superlink Galvatron $45 Superlink Convoy $55 World's smallest Wave 1 missed out on a dead mint Shockwave in very nice box $200 I'd like to see Cybercon move to a bigger venue, and with a bigger room and more promotion on all the fan sites the con should be able to attract more vendors and even more fans. Usually you see some lame blurb about a con in Brazil on the fan sites during the Cybercon weekend, I want to know about all cons, I don't want censorship from other fan sites.
  4. I mix everything together... 20th Prime is holding Perfect Grade Gundam's beam saber, Next to 2002 12" Mecha Godzilla, next to Gamera, next to Mazinger, next to Alternators, next to Joes, next to Energon, next to He-man, Next to C.O.P.S., next to Berserk, next to Star Wars Kubricks, Next to 6" Judge Dredd, next to Duke Nukem, next to Golgo 13 crane toy etc. Mixing everything gives alot of variety, especially when you mix in differant sized toys that fill in the gaps between toys. Mix everthing up... it gives you displayed collection a where's Waldo type quality.
  5. There's several reason TF is doing well: The return to the classic Autbot/Decepticon conflict with the traditional cars vs military transforming vehicles 20th anniversary Prime- prime has generated a ton of interest, those just looking for info on 20th prime get sucked into Armada and Energon. Energon having even stronger G1 referances, like Megatron looking more faithful to G1 toon Galvatron than the actual G1 toy did!! Energon toon is a vast improvement over the crappily animated Armada 'slideshow' Takara and Hasbro Re-issues get adults drawn back in G1 fans now have kids Local conventions like Cybercon in Jersey get the active fans a place to meet Tons of fan run websites and message boards allowing many fans to interact instead of being isolated back in the 80's
  6. G1 had almost non stop action and violence, but there wasn't many consequences to G1 toon violence, Starscream would shoot Megtron in the back and it was like a mosquito bite to him. BW violence tended to be more comical, like looney toons, how many times did Waspinator get blown to bits? BW violence was isolated and rather slow, G1 violence was quick and filled most of the episode. BW did have some consequential violence, like Dinobot's 1st death, but I don't think BW could have gotten away with notching up the intensity level to G1 levels and gotten away with it. I'd say G1 definately had more violence, however when BW showed violence it felt like there was more of it since there were consequences to the isolated violent acts.
  7. 1st thing, the BT/ALT line spefically is promoting that actual car companies are a part of the storyline, the precedant is that they are accurate and approved by the companies involved, to start making non-licensed cars would be great, but they probably wouldn't call them Alternators. Also I think Takara is looking for legitimacy and to position the BT line to compete with the lucrative non-transforming 1/24 scale car market that is popular since the cars are licensed. Will we be seeing Nascar Alternators next?
  8. They're definately worth it, these guys are super detailed and way cheap for what you're getting, plus they are a nice size. For the inexpensive $20 price get 2 of each one for car mode and the other for Bot mode, you only have to transform one of them once then. These guys are selling out quick everywhere, grab them while you still can.
  9. Nobody's mentioned G1 Shockwave yet G1 Cyclonis, G1 Soundwave G1 Kup Insecticons sixshot Sky Linx Alpha Trion Quints G1 Ravage/Laserbeak BW Ravage G1 Mirage How about the some of the not too bright bots? All Dinobots, G1 Starscream, Trypticon, G1 Cliffjumper, G1 Blurr, BW Cheetor, BW Skorponok, Waspinator, Junkions, Omega Supreme, G1 Scourge, Sharticons, G1 Ironhide, G1 Bumblebee, Rumble/Frenzy
  10. I got Masterpiece Convoy from Digital Toys 2 days before XMAS in flawless shape, they're located in New England and ship super fast, a highly recommended alternative to BBTS. http://www.digital-toys.com/transformers.html I see their price went up for MP convoy just like BBTS did after pre-orders were closed
  11. The Prime inc. is cool since it's a real trucking company: http://www.primeinc.com/index.html How about a Radio Shack trailer advertising shackwave and optimus speakers?
  12. Telecommunications, mostly Voice switching platforms international and domestic, also transmission from Ds0 up to OC192.
  13. I wouldn't be suprised if Hasbro just re-colored G1 Sideswipe in yellow and passed it off as Sunstreaker
  14. I ordered directly from 88mph so I'd get the exclusive print, haven't received anytning yet, no e-mail from them or shipping notice either.
