  1. Jenna Ortega and Michael Keaton's returning star power will definitely bring people to seats. Don't know how story will play out but don't want another "passing of the torch" story-line.
  2. The Vintage R5-D4 is pretty lackluster compared to all the stuff the Black Series one can do (yes, I know it's a repainted body of the R2. They could have added a little something more to the 3.75)
  3. Say what now?!?! No, no, no, no, I was happy when they sold this for $90 last year. They're trying to chase after that Has-Lab money. $250 no way!
  4. The "Wallace and Grommit"-like animation story better be legit stop-motion animation. Judging by the still image I want to believe but could be CG to look like stop-motion.
  5. I'm with you on the cheap looking factor. The body looks like paper-thin plastic and probably doesn't weigh much. That's the only way I think they could get it down to that price point.
  6. Action figure sizes are getting out of hand. Neca is doing 8inch? McFarlane wants to dominate with 7inch. Hasbro 6 & 3.75. Anything larger and we're getting into doll territory. Personally, I just want something palm sized.
  7. John Williams, wonderful man. Made so many good pieces like Sayuri : Memories of a Geisha, Harry Potter, etc. A bit of useless trivia for the cameo appearance in the Rise of Skywalker scene: "The production had made a gallery of 51 items, each one from a film for which he received an Academy Award Nomination for original score in the scene." Think about this . . . Director JJ Abrams asked the props department to make 51 specialized pieces that were barely on screen for a moment and then probably destroyed after wrapup. He spent all that money to show appreciation to Mr Williams but didn't let us in on it. Such a shame and a waste.
  8. There was definitely a lot of content over the past 2 years. Sadly, I couldn't bring myself as a fan to open my wallet. The mediocre TV shows introduced characters that barely had any staying power (2 episodes, here and gone). Exclusive figures were hard to obtain. Overall, it's been quantity over quality. I'm hoping for something that will bring back the magic of Star Wars in the next couple years.
  9. I hope this is in the same vein as "Josie and the Pussycats" movie was. It took a cute premise, played it silly and became meta at times. A fun watch for a relic of the 00s.
  10. Playing Superman pays more / is less work. Any idea when the next movie is due to drop?
  11. I think this is the first line of Black Series toys that features real people. No aliens, robots, or masked people here. The funny thing is if you lined Han, Rebel Trooper, and then Tobias up in that order, you'd see their jackets getting progressively longer! ? Something different this time around!
