  1. Aw c'mon. After Pay-pal fees, shipping (which I'm paying) and eBay fees I'm breaking even. It's no different if you bought these from BBTS or any other etailer. Difference is folks want to jump on me as a gouger. I sell at a fair price and make these available to those who can't find them. Scalpers charge far more and try to squeeze as much as they can out. I'm providing a service of sorts. Regardless, folks will hate. Comes with the territory I suppose. Anyway, more available for those who are interested... editeditediteditedit
  2. Thanks for the tip on this. I chased all the way down to Palatine from work on my lunch hour (ok, it was slightly closer to 90 minutes than 60) and found the Bats and Power Girls on the pegs. They were moved from an apparent endcap that was referenced above. I looked around them and found someone was nice enough to hide a Joker for me!!! So I grabbed the three figs, paid for them and left at least three Power Girls and three bats hanging there for someone else. Now I've got to hope I can get my mitts on the Man-Bat, Beast boy, Robotman & Forager somewhere... I Was just there the other day and saw the pegs LOADED wuth Black Batman and Powergirl. I found the whole wave (and sold it on eBay for $35 a pop) a couple of weeks ago at thw Walmart in Mt. Prospect. I kepts the Man-Bat and a Joker for my personal collection. The others scored me some Pay-Pal play money. I works nights near said Walmart so I swing by around 3-4am and scope out the toy aisles. More times than not I score all sorts of new figures. Joes, Star Wars and DCUC to name a few. Not to start another scalper debate, but we dont like your kind of scum around here! I'm sure I'll cry myself to sleep tonight on my pile of eBay money. Incidentally, I have six more figures on eBay for those of you haters who can't find them. Price is down due to supply... $25 a pop. I know someone here will buy them. Probably the same guy who hates me but wtf, your money is good here anyway.

  4. That Superboy still looks gay. I hated him in the 90's. Modern Cheetah looks cool, but this whole wave is a pass for me.
  5. Yeah..the guy who did the custom took the time to paint the ankle joints green to match the BLACK boots just to throw us off. Take a closer look at the pic and you'll have your answer. there are clear differences, such as the aformentioned head being cast in fleshtone plastic and my mentioning the ankle's here.
  6. Yes, my father, brother and I went to the store and gt us some serious sangwich fixin's and spent the day swillin brew and taking in the movie. I say 'movie' because it's really not a trilogy but rather three parts of one long flick. Awsome. Woke up, wathced a movie and went to bed for the night.
  7. If I only knew how to post a pic on this site... Far too difficult... I would. My default Batman is the black wave3 version with an Un-Masked Jim Lee Batman head on the figure. A good figure went to flipping Awsome with this simple mod.
  8. Dude... Endeavor to Persevere my friend. You'll only end up regretting it in the long run and then try to recollect that which you gave up.
  9. I don't think he needed another pay-day at all. I thingk it's more that he, like other "retired" wrestlers before him just can't give up the ocean of screaming fans who have grown up with and love the guy. He's a legend who hears fans roar his famous "Whoo!" everytime he sets foot in the arena. Who go nuts over his entrance music. That has got to be one thrilling, adrenaline pumping kind of thing that some guys just can't give up.
  10. Wasn't there supposed to be some other villian that Wolverine fought in this movie...another weapon X type villian that's NOT Deadpool? This could be someone else, even though the figure is out there. WOuldn't be the first mistake made... Sort of the Ra's al Ghul type thing. One could hope. I was looking forward to red and black leather with the domino mask.
  11. Saw last night and I thought it was tits! Can't wait for the Green Lantern's new flick this July. I know we have had a ton of Batman stuff lately, but I wouldn't mind seeing him get his PG-13 animated flick. Same goes for Superman and the rest of the JLA's A-list.
  12. I th9nk this is more along the lines of prototypes v. final prodcut. Seldom do figures thathit the shelves completely resemble the prototypes we see at cons or toyfairs. I think the figures we have were always destined to be as such, not price cutting by shrinking their figures. Imagine the uproar over such a change... Mattel is trying to be collector friendly. A change like that would cause too much backlash.
  13. So I, much like others, have experienced the wrist pegs on ne of my Hot Toy figures breaking. In particular, the wrist peg on my Dark Knight Batman broke. Now, were it not one of my most prized figures AND close to $200, I wouldn't mind...incidentally, I go mine from Urban Toys for $150, but I digress... I was switching hands and on the first tug * SNAP * the right wrist peg broke. After much frustration and cussing, I contacted Hot Toys support and they not only replaced the peg, but sent me an additional peg for my trouble... VEry cool. Now, I am a loyal purchaser of such collectibles. Great customer service and they managed this perfectly. If you have or should you have the same problem I did, contact Hot Toys as they will help you out. I should point out that you will need a copy of your receipt and a photo of the broken piece as proof.
  14. I don;t see how any medical professional would allow someone who has 7 kids and on government aid collecting food stamps to have in vitro done again regardless of how many children it produces. This woman and this story is a joke. Too many folks out there are popping kids they can't possibly afford out. Now who suffers? Her children. There's no way she can go back to school, work and give each child the care and attention they deserve. None of my business really, but this woman shouldn't be working at an institution for the mentally unstable. She should be in one.
  15. Finally, a respectable Joker to add to my collection. Well, repectable from mattel. My Classics Batman has been in need of a worthy oponent. I refused to purchase the first figure on the grounds that it sucked sweaty monkey balls. Well done Mattel.
