And they still haven't corrected Gung-Ho upper arms! :D

They refer to this as "another chance", and the first thought that comes to my mind is "Who missed them the first hundred times?!"

Seriously, most of these characters have either had or will have multiple repaints and re-issues already. Many collectors complain that these very characters clog the shelves already. Who does Hasbro think they're selling these to?

I doesn't even make sense from a business standpoint, as they're flooding the market with the same character (and even worse, the same exact figure of the same character) over and over. Did Hasbro pay no attention at all to the last He-Man relaunch?

But in feeble defence of Hasbro, this IS what fans wanted.........easy access to figures and characters over time. We are getting exactly what we wanted and hoped for.

I don't mind when Hasbro does this. There might just be people who didn't get these however many times they've been released before. You also have to remember there are ...(hopefully!)... new fans who are jumping onto this line and would like a shot at some of those earlier releases.

Where it does get frustrating is when you see wave after wave with only one or two new characters being included among a ton of Snake-Eyeses, Storm Shadows, Cobra Commanders, etc.

They left out Flash. I just bought him yesterday. Gonna sell him on eBay along with B.A.T. maybe. I think the original chrome logo will worth more than the re-issued white logo. These figures look the same as the original, nothing customs like re-issued Torpedo and his goggle on his face.

Well I agree with many of you. I would love new stuff, but I have had a hard time finding many of the Joe's swinging free. I have had to resort to E bay to find hard to get or short run Joe's. So I am all for reissuing some of the older stuff. That way those who came late to the party can jump in and take a swim with those who have been here since GI Joe 25th day one.

I know what you mean, girl. It gets frustrating. I had to pay 36.00 for the 1wave Flint. It's ridiculous but I finally got him, that was early this summer. No telling what he cost now. My precious!!! (mimicking Gollum, LOL)

And another thing......if you see more than 1 Flints, buy them all!! Good chance they'll fetch over $20. Alot of desperate collectors out there. I feel so lucky to get into when Wave 3 came out and got the previous ones (knock on wood). How stupid of me to assume that this will be shortlived. Boy, was I wrong. I never thought it would get this big and I seem to be having hard time staying on top and respecting my budget system. But buying them with credit cards and selling them on ebay, you'll get money back in no time. Hell yeahhhh!!!! YO JOE!!! COBRAAA LA LA LA LA LAAA!!!

Exactly. Which is why I can't believe there are STILL complainers.

One of the biggest gripes was lack of availability. Now they are reissuing figures. Soooooooo.......what's the problem? Even the most common figures STILL sell out eventually. If nothing else, this will at least give KIDS more of an opportunity to see them and want to get them. That IS what will keep the line alive after all.

Well.....I'm all good on all of these, so no need to get them, but that's speaking for myself and if there's folks who missed them and still need them, this is a good thing for them. That being said though, it would have been nice if along with this re-issue of some previous waves, they would have ALSO gone ahead and "corrected" or "FIXED" some of the things pointed out as "flaws" the first time around?

DUKES mold has just been used entirely too damn much (as it is) and it's been pretty much a widespread opinion that it's not a very good mold at that, with the dumbass arms and sleeves on him and yet not only do we get this mold thrown at us almost more than any other (not sure of exact count, but it has to be right up there with Snake Eye's mold?) we're getting a re-issue with NO modifications.

Same with the back assward upper arms on Gung Ho and apparently the FLINT coming out is just the same as the first also.....no corrected arms?

While I understand and appreciate the idea of Hasbro wanting to get more out there to those that blinked and missed them the first time, they could have sold a few more to those of us who have them already but would still want the "corrected" version as well.

This is nice for me. I missed out on allot of these Joes and glad Hasbro is giving me another chance to buy them. Does anyone know when we can expect to see these in stores? Also, I been wanting Snake eyes w/ timber....is he still available in stores? Ebay is ripping people off with that Snake eyes.

I still think exclusives should become sinlge cards... hell bring out the PDD's on cards, and do a BAT 2 pack.

Toy lines should not have figures worth 100"s of dollars. If its for kids, make all of them available again.

I really hope that Flint is in this wave.......he is the ONLY 25th figure that I don't have and have never even seen in person. I have the Tiger Force one......but I want the regular wave 1 version.

hes up at HTS, it says out of stock, so i'm guessing late this month in to early next month

I don't really care about this wave because I have them all, I am only a little irked because I feel these will warm pegs forever and keep stores from restocking as fast like wave four did around here. And I also feel a lot of people are so upset because the new waves that have been announced(or leaked, whatever you want to call it) have been very new character free and since we're nearing the end of new non-movie product I feel like people are disappointed that their favorites will not likely be made for a long time, especially since some of them are just a new head from existence, like Shockwave. A lot of people are probably upset they're getting Storm Shadow and the like YET AGAIN instead of the new characters it would be so easy to make, especially since Gung Ho and Duke will be seeing new versions right around the same time.

@grumpy@ I WANT TO SEE THESE FIGURES, PACKAGED JUST LIKE THAT, WITH THOSE COLORS BUT WITH THEIR CROTCHES CORRECTED SO THEY CAN SEAT (DUKE AND SCARLETT) AS WELL AS GUNG HO'S ARMS CORRECTED (THEY'RE BACKWARDS!). BACK IN 1982, HASBRO CORRECTED THE FIGURES' ARMS AND INTRODUCED THE SO CALLED "SWIVEL ARM BATTLE GRIP!" IN LESS THAN A YEAR. THEY CORRECTED ALL THEIR FIGURES' ARMS AND CROTCHES. IS IT SO DIFFICULT TO DO TODAY? I'LL WAIT A BIT MORE TO BUY, TO SEE IF THEY FIX THEM. ALSO, WHERE THE BLACK SUITED BARONESS? @hmmm@@grumpy@
