  1. Jeez, can't anyone just be happy we're getting the figures we've all been clamoring for for such a long time? So what if they aren't exactly like the ones you had when you were a kid? You get the figure, get some Testors and a brush, and fix the damn thing! On a more personal note...HIT & RUN baby! Thank you Hasbro! You finally came through. Outback, Zap, and Chuckles also look great.
  2. Since we're about to receive a VvV 5-pack in the 25th style, I figured I'd ask, who were your favorites from the Spy Troops and Valor vs Venom lines? My own were: Spy Troops: -Barrel Roll -Crosshair -Mission Disk Duke -Mission Disk Snake Eyes -Heavy Water -Black Out Valor vs Venom: -Ghost Bear Yeah, I know its a one sided list, but Ghost Bear is really the only one from the VvV line that I felt like I had to have, whereas the Spy Troops line held much more promise and had better sculpts (at least in my opinion). So lay it out, who were your favorites, or if you'd rather, who were the worst?
  3. Check this out... http://cgi.ebay.com/GI-Joe-15th-TRU-Army-R...A1%7C240%3A1318 This is just insane!
  4. My first vehicle was the Battle Wagon, first Cobra was probably the 91 Snow Serpent. I previously stated my first Joes were the 91 Snake Eyes and Downtown.
  5. Mine would have to be the Christmas of 1992. That was the year of the Joe. I got everything from the 92 wave, 91 Snake Eyes, the Battle Wagon, the Patriot, Mudbuster, Ice Snake, and a couple others. That was the year that I got obsessed and I've been going strong ever since.
  6. I didn't see anything from Wave 1 and 2 until the revisions started popping up. Then there was any female figure, the vehicles (just for a while, now they're every where), SE w/ Black Timber, Yellow Stalker, Clear Blue Wraith, and lastly, anything from Wave 12. I'm just hoping the Resolute comic packs won't be hard to find.
  7. For me it was Downtown followed by Snake Eyes V.4. I took them everywhere and always played with them. So much so that I had to re-buy Snake Eyes twice due to excessive play. Unfortunately my orginal exploded when he fell just right...
  8. For me it was always Duke V.3, Snake Eyes V.4, Mutt V.3, and Wet Suit V.3 for Joes along with the Crimson Guard Commander, Alley Viper V.2, Baroness V.2, and Firefly for Cobras. The vehicles I went with were the Battle Wagon and Mudbuster.
  9. this literally made me laugh out loud! dude, the '87-'88 Joes were my absolute favorites! I'm so stoked on getting 25th Tunnel Rat, Outback and Shockwave! when I heard they were being made, I actually started to believe I might get Muskrat, Hardball and Repeater some day. excellent thread! I know, right? That was hilarious, though I do remember something in the comics about Muskrat hunting Dreadnoks...maybe I'm making things up, but I could swear...in any event. 25th Tunnel Rat and Shockwave will rock! Unfortunately, Outback was cancelled along with the Flak Cannon, but there's a rumor of them popping up as a store exclusive or Outback being a single carded figure. There is also a rumor going around that Hit N' Run will be released either right before or right after the movie line. Apparantly, he's a fan favorite as well as a favorite of the guys at Hasbro. Hardball would rock as would Repeater and Muskrat. I'm hoping and praying.
  10. I was just wondering what happened to a few characters. In 1988 the Joes were joined by Muskrat, Hit N' Run, Repeater, Hardball, and others, but whatever happened to them? Hardball was killed in Volume 2 #41 by the Red Shadows, but I haven't seen the others since Volume 1 #100. Anyone know where they are or whether or not their still alive?
  11. I'm looking for parts and figures and am willing to trade or buy if the price is right. Here's what I'm looking for: Vehicle Parts: 3x Battle Wagon Missiles Battle Wagon secondary cannon (sits next to the cockpit) 1997 A-10 Thunderhawk landing gear with wheel (I'm pissed because mine broke off and I can't fix it!!!!!) Accessories: 2007 Single Pack Shipwreck shotgun 2008 Comic Pack Firefly vest If you have any of these parts and are willing to part with them, shoot me a pm with the price or what you want for them and I'll get back to you ASAP.
  12. I'd have to go with my favorite Cobra trooper being the Night Vipers, but since he's not a choice, I would go for my second favorite, the HEAT Viper. Seeing him in issue 121 alongside the Frag Viper and SAW Viper taking on the Battle Wagon was freaking awesome! For the IGs, I was never a big fan, but Undertow always caught my eye.
  13. They are the same figs and they come with the same accessories. They comic #86 the first (at least I think it is) appearance of Joe Colton. Hope that helps!
  14. Ouch! This is going to disappoint a lot of people. Tell me about it, I'm one of them!
  15. I'd really like to know how much you're asking for Hit N' Run. I'll shoot you an email. It'll be from tervaco1@yahoo.com.
