  1. Following the show’s phenomenal debut, Prime Video announced today that it has renewed its latest hit series, Fallout, for a second season. The series comes from Kilter Films and executive producers Jonathan Nolan and Lisa Joy. Nolan directed the first three episodes. Geneva Robertson-Dworet and Graham Wagner serve as executive producers, creators, and co-showrunners. In its first four days, the high-octane fueled series has become a hit with its global audience, ranking among the service’s top three most-watched titles ever and the most-watched season globally since Rings of Power. The debut season of Fallout premiered exclusively on Prime Video on Wednesday, April 10 in more than 240 countries and territories worldwide. Based on one of the greatest video game series of all time, Fallout is the story of haves and have-nots in a world in which there’s almost nothing left to have. Two-hundred years after the apocalypse, the gentle denizens of luxury fallout shelters are forced to return to the irradiated hellscape their ancestors left behind—and are shocked to discover an incredibly complex, gleefully weird, and highly violent universe waiting for them. Ella Purnell is Lucy, an optimistic Vault-dweller with an all-American can-do spirit. Her peaceful and idealistic nature is tested when she is forced to the surface to rescue her father. Aaron Moten is Maximus, a young soldier who rises to the rank of squire in the militaristic faction called the Brotherhood of Steel. He will do anything to further the Brotherhood’s goals of bringing law and order to the wasteland. Walton Goggins is the Ghoul, a morally ambiguous bounty hunter who holds within him a 200-year history of the post-nuclear world. These disparate parties collide when chasing an artifact from an enigmatic researcher that has the potential to radically change the power dynamic in this world. The series stars Ella Purnell (Yellowjackets), Aaron Moten (Emancipation), Kyle MacLachlan (Twin Peaks), and Walton Goggins (The Hateful Eight). Athena Wickham of Kilter Films also executive produces, along with Todd Howard for Bethesda Game Studios and James Altman for Bethesda Softworks. Amazon MGM Studios and Kilter Films produce in association with Bethesda Game Studios and Bethesda Softworks. The series cast includes Moisés Arias (The King of Staten Island), Sarita Choudhury (Homeland), Michael Emerson (Person of Interest), Leslie Uggams (Deadpool), Frances Turner (The Boys), Dave Register (Heightened), Zach Cherry (Severance), Johnny Pemberton (Ant-Man), Rodrigo Luzzi (Dead Ringers), Annabel O'Hagan (Law & Order: SVU), and Xelia Mendes-Jones (The Wheel of Time).

  4. Netflix has officially begun production of The Witcher Season 4 and has given greenlit Season 5 of The Witcher, which will film back-to-back with Season 4 and will be the final chapter in Geralt's story. Seasons 4 and 5 will adapt the remaining of Sapkowski's books, Baptism of Fire, The Tower of the Swallow, and Lady of the Lake, promising to offer an epic and satisfying conclusion to Netflix's hit fantasy drama. After the shocking, Continent-altering events that close out season three, the new season follows Geralt, Yennefer, and Ciri who are faced with traversing the war-ravaged Continent and its many demons apart from each other. If they can embrace and lead the groups of misfits they find themselves in, they have a chance of surviving the baptism of fire and finding one another again. Lauren Schmidt Hissrich says: "It is with huge pride that we begin shooting our penultimate Season of The Witcher with a stellar cast, including some exciting new additions, led by Liam Hemsworth as Geralt of Rivia. We're thrilled to be able to bring Andrzej Sapkowski's books to an epic and satisfying conclusion. It wouldn't be our show if we didn't push our family of characters to their absolute limit - stay tuned to see how the story ends." Cast: Liam Hemsworth (Geralt of Rivia), Anya Chalotra (Yennefer of Vengerberg), Freya Allan (Princess Cirilla of Cintra), Joey Batey (Jaskier), Laurence Fishburne (Regis) Eamon Farren (Cahir), Anna Shaffer (Triss Merigold), Mimî M Khayisa (Fringilla), Cassie Clare (Philippa), Mahesh Jadu (Vilgefortz), Meng'er Zhang (Milva), Graham McTavish (Dijkstra), Royce Pierreson (Istredd), Mecia Simson (Francesca), Sharlto Copley (Leo Bonhart), Danny Woodburn (Zoltan), Jeremy Crawford (Yarpen), Bart Edwards (Emhyr), Hugh Skinner (Radovid), James Purefoy (Skellen), Christelle Elwin (Mistle), Fabian McCallum (Kayleigh), Juliette Alexandra (Reef), Ben Radcliffe (Giselher), Connor Crawford (Asse), Aggy K. 9. Comedy Central just greenlit a 10-episode animated series called Golden Axe, which is based on the Sega video game. The show is being produced by CBS Studios, Sony Pictures Television, and Original Film. Described as a hilarious and loving homage to Sega’s 1989 video game series, Golden Axe, from executive producers Mike McMahon and Joe Chandler, follows veteran warriors Ax Battler, Tyris Flare and Gilius Thunderhead as they once again battle to save Yuria from the evil giant Death Adder who just won’t seem to stay dead. Fortunately, this time they have the inexperienced and underprepared Hampton Squib on their side. Golden Axe voice cast includes Matthew Rhys, who will be voicing Gilius Thunderhead, a cranky battle dwarf with really bad hygiene and a bit of an attitude problem. Danny Pudi plays the role of Hampton Squib, a wide-eyed and inexperienced rookie adventurer who has always fantasized about going on quests. Despite his lack of practical skills, he relies on his optimistic and determined nature to compensate for his shortcomings. Lisa Gilroy brings to life the character of Tyris Flare, a formidable battle sorceress who is not only lethal in combat but also possesses a razor-sharp wit. Liam McIntyre takes on the role of Ax Battler, a fierce warrior who abides by a strong moral compass and possesses the gentle nature of a golden retriever. While he may not be the sharpest tool in the shed, his compassion and kindness far surpass his physical strength. Carl Tart, also known as Tart's Chronos "Evil" Lait, hails from Golden Axe III and is a total badass humanoid panther. Well, that's what Chronos claims about himself. But in truth, he's incredibly cheesy and completely clueless when it comes to reading the room. McMahan and Chandler are teaming up to write the first episode and lead the production of the series, with Chandler taking on the role of showrunner. Haruki Satomi, Shuji Utsumi, and Toru Nakahara from Sega, along with Neal H. Moritz, Pavun Shetty, and Toby Ascher from Original Film, will also be executive producing. Titmouse is the animation studio behind the series, with Chris Prynoski, Shannon Prynoski, Antonio Canobbio, and Ben Kalina as executive producers. Golden Axe is a collaboration between CBS Eye Animation Productions, Sony Pictures Television, and Original Film.
  10. Super Evil Megacorp will make their console debut with the launch of their fan-favorite and award-winning Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles: Splintered Fate on the Nintendo Switch in July. Commemorating 40 years of the iconic crime-fighting brothers, players and fans alike will travel through reality bending portals to rescue their abducted master, Splinter, in this roguelike action game, designed natively for Nintendo Switch. The game was developed by Super Evil Megacorp, in collaboration with Paramount Game Studios. Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles: Splintered Fate, the award-winning game that has received over 22,000 55 player reviews, puts players in full control of Leonardo, Raphael, Donatello and Michelangelo in an all-new story co-written by SEMC Creative Director Kevin Michael Johnson and legendary TMNT comic book author Tom Waltz. Featuring Super Evil’s unique, fluid combat style mixed with strategic and surprising roguelike gameplay, the result is a fresh Turtles experience with scores of replayability. The game features fast-flowing combat, a diverse build system that will allow players to build the elemental infused Teenage Turtle of their dreams, bodacious co-op capabilities, and improved visual design, graphics and audio quality. Set across four unique New York City environments, the game keeps TMNT fans enthralled from start to finish, as players encounter familiar allies, tons of easter eggs and references across collectibles and narrative, and encounters with iconic bosses including, of course, the mutant duo Bebop and Rocksteady and archenemy Shredder. “At Super Evil we aspire to make incredible shared gaming moments, and we are very excited to bring Splintered Fate to Switch to allow more players to play together with family and friends both at home and on the go,” said Ian Fielding, Studio Head of Super Evil Megacorp. “We’re looking forward to collaborating with Paramount Game Studios in delivering many more updates and thrills as part of our long term commitment to the game and our players. Splinter missing is just the start!” Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles: Splintered Fate is designed with Super Evil’s core philosophy that gamers across platforms deserve to play beautiful, responsive and shared experiences. This guiding principle also fuels Super Evil’s proprietary EVIL Engine, known for unlocking the best possible player experiences by delivering high-performance graphics and precision controls across the widest range of hardware and screen sizes.
