Of course, I wonder if this means they will also consider rereleasing comic pack figs as singles also? I could sure use a Breaker with all his gear, but would like to pass on the Destro. Same with Copperhead and Lt Falcon, though I have yet to see the first release on those two.

Too bad this Flint is not the corrected version.

In addition, they aren't even labeling them correctly! The battle helmet CC has the MASS Device crystal from the cartoon, yet says 'comic', and Flint is in his regular colors, despite saying it's based on the cartoon.
This is aside from the fact that there currently isn't any cartoon or comic. It's not like they're trying to cross-promote here. In fact, there's a chance they could actually hurt casual buying from people who would buy for nostalgia of the comic or cartoon, but bypass some of the figures without understanding that there really isn't a difference.
I can see it when it makes sense. MASS crystal CC is actually a great example of one that could use it. My problem is that it doesn't make sense to use it on every single one, and they aren't even using it accurately.

I'm hoping Flint will be corrected, or at least have the corrected Duke arms that the TF Duke will have.

The comic pack one, the one you have.
It's cool that they'll be rereleasing these.
On a side note: Man, I swear, the day we STOP hearing about needing a "corrected" Flint, I will do a dance of joy. It's the biggest non-issue in recent GI Joe memory.

Accessories/display wise, the comic pack Firefly is simply awesome. That backpack alone made me giddy.
The single pack FF has it's own merits, but once you get past the 'nostalgia factor'... it's just not as good, IMO.

Battle helmet, not armor.
On a serious note here... I'm used to referring to 'chrome-face' CC as being in 'battle helmet'. Is there another, more common fan term that I should be using? 'Combat helmet'? 'Metal mask'?
I'm completely serious. I know it's not the first time I've mentioned it, and probably not the first time someone's questioned it.

Thanks. I guess I'll be saving $7!

This is great news for me, I can finally army build some Cobra Troopers (never found them in the first place)!
However, its also a disappointment because I broke down and got wave 3 online as I never found them in stores (overpaid badly on FF and Zartan).
So, mixed feelings here.
Does anyone know if they're going to single card any of the comic pack figures, there's a couple I might pick up if they do (Iron grenadier and Tripwire come to mind).

Actually, if I remember correctly, the new lineup of Joes were usually inserted into the comics before they hit retail, to give them a push before hitting store shelves...could be wrong, but I seem to remember it that way.

They're both awesome in their own right.
The single-carded version is great if you want a V1 homage to Firefly. Plus he looks great on display.
The comic pack one is hands down one of the best figures of the 25th line, IMO. He has a TON of cool accessories and also looks great when displayed.
I say get both, as they're both some of my top favorites from the line.

I put the webgear from the single card FF on the comic pack one. I think he looks great now!

I would have liked to of seen the Flint fixed of his rotten-ass HORRIBLE Dukey-Pukey arms that have RUINED so many figures since, even after so MANY people expressed their hatred of them (that's when I go back to wondering if Hasbro really IS listening?
The whole comic/cartoon thing being used in place of the 25th logo doesn't mean a whole lot to me, and i guess i couldn't really care less about it, as it's just something to slap on there in place of the 25th logo, which is pretty much passe' now, the 25th celebration has technically expired, so it's just print on a piece of cardboard, despite any technicalities it may be violating?

But come on Hasbro, if there going to reissue older figures can't they at least fix some of the figures that had problems.
Like Flint w/ those horriable Duke arms and the Viper w/ those funky wrist. And while your at it, give us some better paint apps and also get rid of those diaper crotches.
But that is just my two cents.
