What G.I.Joe means to me.... G.I.Joe has been the premier action figure for me throughout my life as a collector. When I was younger, G.I.Joe figures were the best, most articulated figures around. I would stage battles in the backyard with very rough backdrops and scenery, and my friends and I would also "customize" if you can call it that, our doubles into different never before made characters, and even characters from other "universes" (like DC and Marvel Superheroes). All in all, G.I.Joe has always been the best detailed and articulated 3 3/4 inch toy around, for almost 30 years. They've made a big impact on my life, and really helped shape the creative person I've become in my life, as they've done for so many boys and girls of the 80s, 90s, and new millenium. G.I.Joe will surely be entertaining and inspiring children for decades to come. Yo Joe!!
