Yeah, I don't come around much these days, but I'm making these videos nowadays. They're more Marvel-related than anything else, even though their particular focus is ambiguous at best. And this is my old stomping grounds, so I'm posting them here. Warning: I cuss a lot. 1) http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=II6zUk4_6mU - I go to Walmart and ass around but find nothin'. 3) http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=MNdS4olwcRM - This is the monologue I snipped out of the previous one. Filmed before the following one, but finalized as a video after. Ergo the bizarre numbering. 2) http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=xgR3-dLgT9E - Finalized as a video in between the above, but takes place after both. I go to the comic shop and pick up a new Marvel figure. Enjoy. Or else.

Marvel Select: Mephisto Action Figure Ships This Week
TheBigBadWolfman replied to JayC's topic in Marvel
Got mine today. There's a whole story to it. It doesn't seem relevant at first, but that story is here: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=xgR3-dLgT9E (Note. I cuss a lot.) And if you're curious, here's another instance where I'm hunting for figures. http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=II6zUk4_6mU (Note. I cuss a lot MORE in this one.) -
No, I'm chalking it up to plot holes. Unless I'm remembering incorrectly, In Ep. 6 he seems to remember Leia, but he discounted her in Ep. 5. So yeah. It's Bob and George without Bob. (Badoomp tch. If you don't know what Bob and George is, do a Google search. Funny stuff that prides itself on its plot holes.)

Whos Theater Had The Most Midnight Showings?
TheBigBadWolfman replied to Starscream49's topic in Star Wars
My theater had it on I think six screens, or twelve. I couldn't see (as I was in a hurry to get myself a seat) but it was either half of them or all of them. -
Nobody dis manwhoring until you try it. That's all I gotta say. @wink@

Poll: What Do You Think Should Be Censored?
TheBigBadWolfman replied to Cleavage Sculpt's topic in General Toy Talk
Not to say that I don't think partial nudity is harmful, but I prefer to think that the blood and guts is MORE harmful. I mean, in the course of a person's lifetime, it's more likely that they're going to see a naked person than a dismembered person... more likely to have kids than witness a murder. That, and... I hate to say it, but it's not hard to go online and check out porn anymore. Kids are gonna see it in some medium or another, so censoring it in comics or on figures is sorta moot. -
They used to do this way more often than they do now... it was a real early 90's thing. I know that Bionicle began as the Lego toy and became a cartoon, right? That's the only recent one I can think of... but what were some of the older ones? There were Street Sharks, which became a cartoon pretty quickly. Man, those guys were AWESOME, by the way... And I know NOTHING about Transformers, so someone's gonna have to fill me in... was that a toy first, or a cartoon? Anyway, what are some others you can come up with?

Anyone Have Any Idea When Sin City Figures Comeout
TheBigBadWolfman replied to Genocide_Viper's topic in General Toy Talk
I'm TOTALLY roped in by this story. But I dunno if I wanna get the figures. If I do, it'll only be the color ones, I think... compatibility with other lines is an object of obsession for me when getting new lines. But the lessened posability is a turn-off. But Rosario and Jessica are a turn-on. Such a conundrum. -
It's great for me... in my room, where I keep most of my figures, I have a shelf running along two walls devoted to my figures. Due to the structure of the room, it's most convenient for my bed (a matress on the floor ) to be under one stretch of shelf as opposed to the other side of the room. Above my feet are my Spidey villains, and nearest my head are my Street Fighters. So one night as I lay sleeping, the SF's started getting drowsy. T. Hawk just couldn't stay awake any longer and collapsed against Ryu, who hit both ladies, who knocked Vega into Sagat, who took a headfirst dive off my shelf and hit me square on the nose, waking me up. I knew he was heavy before, but DAMN did that hurt. Needless to say, my Street Fighters migrated to my desk the next morning.

I found ML9 Bullseye and Deathlok a few weeks ago at a Target in Colton (Riverside Cty)

I know that HUSH beat me to it, but feel free to call on me as well. I've already got a couple comic ideas in the works (only one of them being my own, story and all... it's my baby. As for the rest, I'm strictly part of a team). Hit me up if you're interested... send me character descriptions or whatnot.

So Whats The -one- Toyline Youd Die To Have But ..
TheBigBadWolfman replied to MeanStreak's topic in General Toy Talk
Well, seeing as how they're making a terrible-looking GBA-styled Zero in the Megaman line, there's no hope of Megaman Zero figures coming out soooooooo yeah. That suxx0rz. Anyway... it occurs to me that this may be redundant (or something... I'm only saying this because lots of people have said this but not in this thread), but IS IT SO MUCH TO ASK TO HAVE DC CHARACTERS RENDERED IN MARVEL LEGENDS' LEVEL OF ARTICULATION AND DETAIL?! Come on! Here are figures we'd love to have made in ML style, but it's not happening! I mean, wouldn't it be everyone's wet dream to have ML-styled DC characters available for SMC prices with that level of detail and articulation?! -
And to build on that thought, that's the reason I'm NOT picking these up. I'm sure they'll be great, but (1) they don't fit in with any line that I have, and (2) I don't feel like getting another line anyway. The big reason scale's so important to me is because I like doing action figure comics. And when I do them, I have characters from different universes interacting, and scale is therefore pretty much a necessity (Megman and Avengers, Marvel's Urban Legends and Batman, X-Men and Street Fighter, etc.).

So Whats The -one- Toyline Youd Die To Have But ..
TheBigBadWolfman replied to MeanStreak's topic in General Toy Talk
Maybe a Constantine line, just because (despite its flaws) the LOOK of the movie was pretty sweet... and I'll never object to having Rachel Weisz on my desk. I was gonna say Blues Brothers, then I saw that they actually have those out. It'd still be funny if maybe MacFarlane put out a series of those with Jake and Elwood, the crazy nun, Cab, the psycho ex-fiancee (complete with bombs, flame throwers, and M-16), the shrimpy Nazi leader, the Good Ole Boys, and the froggo motel owner. That, or members of the band. OOH! THAT WAY THEY COULD ADVERTISE THAT YOU'RE "PUTTING THE BAND BACK TOGETHER!" GENIUS! Anyway, I think something like Nintendo Legends would be cool, or something along the lines of a Super Smash Bros. Melee series. That way we could get all the favorites like the Mario Brothers, Metroid, Starfox, Donkey Kong, and other popular Nintendo characters. Sega Legends would be interesting too... Sonic, Kid Chameleon, Vectorman, etc. -

I believe I shall charge all web-dwellers ten dollars for viewing my masterpieces. Just because of you. If any of you have objections to that, you know who to beat up.
