Mattel WWE Hall of Fame SGT Slaughter

I do not keep my ear to the ground of wrestling at all. I didn't know this was out or if any other 6" Slaughter's are available. I just happened across this guy at Target today and I looked him over really good. "Is this worth it?", I asked myself. Removable hat, shades, whistle...pretty good 6" sculpt and likeness, I pictured this next to my Marvel Legends representing GI Joe in a year where we're probably not going to get any at all. I'm sure I have a 6" scale machine gun he can borrow...yep, I grabbed him up.

Any other GI Joe fans get this guy?

I did a very quick ebay search and it looks like the scalpers are trying to get $40 + for this one, but of course, that's what they want to get for every new 6" figure. Taking a quick look at the other 6" Sgt Slaughter offerings, this on may be the best by far. I'm glad I picked him up.

I still think 6" GI Joes will be done eventually.

Possibly, and you guys are welcome to them. But IMO Joe is AT LEAST as much about the Playsets, Vamps, Sky-Hawks, Rattlers, and Trouble Bubbles as the figures. You go 6", you kiss all that goodbye.

Yup I seent it too.....I had him in my hands but the fig had all sorts of QC issues, scratch marks all over his face & fading paint on his body.....I would have bought him just for kicks.....but he stayed...I did think he was cool though & if I see another one in good shape I would buy it for the nostalgia factor alone....its kinda lame that "others" are scalping him but its the nature of the beast....

I was disappointed to find out that he towers over all of my Marvel Legends. Oh well, I'm going to display him with my Joes. He'll be out of scale with them anyway.

Just take off his hat.....see if that helps......:P
