Been jabbering away about this line on other forums. Found 6" deluxe Bowser and Donkey Kong at Toys R Us a week ago ($15 a piece) and just found the first wave of 4" figures at Target, consisting of Link, Mario, and Yoshi. ($9 each)

I skipped Mario, as I have the Figuarts Mario...they did a good job on the scale though, and at $9 its a good second place.

Finally found Link the other day at Terget.....so far I've seen him only a handful of times....I haven't opened him yet but he looks choice....I've steered clear of the Mario stuff cause I'm not so much into them...but I'll keep my eyes open for Samus & Metroid.....I need Icarus & Pro-Wrestling & Mike Tyson's Punchout figs.....stat

I opened my Link...its a great fig but feels like my hulk-like hands could smash puny link....of course I have a problem....Link's left foot won't stay on....So I'm gonna adventure on down to Terget & gets some of my cashola back....I would like another Link but he's a scarce lil guy....I'll keep you updated on Link-gate.....cause I know were all gonna lose sleep on this debacle...

I got my son a Link, but he'll probably just display him and most likely leave him in the package. I'm not going to touch the Mario stuff.. he's got enough of the mini blind bag ones from k'nex and that's good enough.. He doesn't need 40 different kinds of Mario figures, lol.. though, the way old Mario stuff has gone on the secondary market, maybe I should get them for him and tell him to just put them away... hmmm...

I'll definitely get Samus and the Metroid. I didn't realize it was so big.. I might have to get a few of those. For some reason, I want Star Fox too, lol.

I played Wind Waker at the time, and I just wasn't a fan of the style (as well as the tedious collecting of the Tri Force pieces). I will agree though that the end battle with Ganon was definitely the best one up to that point (haven't played any Zelda game since then besides Link Between Worlds).

And that Metroid is huge! I don't recall seeing them get that big in the first 3 games, but if it looks cool in person it's a definite buy.

If you thought WW had tedium, I'd skip Skyward Sword forever. Fetch quest after fetch quest to the same few environments over and over, timed/no weapon spirit trials, and tadpole swimming in the last 3rd of the game. Only played it thru once, and every time I think of playing it again, I get angry. Shame, it did have a handful of great bosses.

Well I got all the OT Star Wars figures I could want, GI Joe trickles out at a snail's pace (slower, actually), and I have one good version of every superhero figure that's worth a darn (and of many that aren't worth a darn). So I can start to close the door on all the figure buying. Right? Nope. Now I have my eye on Nintendo figures...

I suggest starting by getting SH Figuarts Mario. He's $18.50 on amazon now and a great figure. Jakks Mario is really really good for the $8 price point, but this thing is a work of art. Just recently bought the accessory sets (also marked down a bit from original price.) Then, you can probably pick up Yoshi and Wario still on shelves now, DK and Bowser are on TRU.com if not at your local store...the only one that seems to be hard for people to get is Link.

Yep. I saw this tread and promptly did some homework. Figuarts Mario looks great but I fear getting sucked into the Figuarts trap because when I buy one the flood gates open up for me. I already spent a small fortune on the Figuarts Power Rangers and I'm still two away from completing the team.

Then I was researching the best Link...Figuarts Link looks awesome but if I go with the reasonably priced line then I'll want to wait for later in the year until the one with the shield comes out. Link's gotta have a shield...

Knowing me, I will most likely end up with the Figuarts Mario then go from there

Predictably, I got home from work and ordered up a Mario and one of the accessory sets from Amazon. When I bought him it had the "Only 1 left in stock" tag on it. Interestingly, I went back after I placed my order and lo and behold, "Only 18 left in stock!" Not that it matters much.

Was it a big key that was used in Skyward Sword? When I think of big key in regards to Zelda, I always think of the boss key you get in each dungeon of Link to the Past.

same thing...they were called Big Keys in A Link to the Past, The Wind Waker, The Minish Cap, and Twilight Princess

here's the promo pic I was referring to:

Anyone else wish they could keep a lil bit of the "mystery" of these mystery accessories from the public? Damn internet.
