Korra - Legend of Korra 3.75

So I just got hooked on The Legend of Korra and thought she would make a cool addition to the Joes as another student of Snake Eyes.

 

Head / Torso - MU Valkyrie

(Sanded the lats down)

 

Lower - Airtight

(Sanded pockets off)

 

Makeshift waistwrap with sculpted fur.

 

Still going to make the saddle/chest harness for Naga.

 

While on mission in the North Pole, Kwinn came across a camp that had been destroyed by what looked like an army. He found a breed of Polar Bear he had not seen before near death. Protected beneath this massive beast was a small girl named Korra. Kwinn brought the girl back to his home in Alaska and began to train her. He found her to be very adept in the martial arts. After a period of time Kwinn began to notice that the girl seemed to have the ability to nudge the elements of earth, air, fire and water around her. He believed with the proper training she could bend these elements to her will. On her 17th birthday he brought her to Snake Eyes to continue her training under him. By this time Korra was able to push the elements. The Polar Dog Naga also accompanied her as her loyal bodyguard and her transportation.

When Korra surfaced with the Joes, so did the man only known as Amon. It was discovered that it was he who destroyed her village and killed her family searching for her. Amon joined Cobra to further his own means and eliminate Korra.

korra and naga look fantstic IW! the sculpted dog ears make a world of difference. korra looks great and i really like the custom base. i'm not really feeling the feather/fuzz for the wind portion, but trying to replicate wind is not easy, so i dont fault your effort. maybe a sculpted wind symbole or gust might have worked a little better, but again its tricky. like really, how are we to replicate something that cant be seen!? lol

 

do you plan to make any other LOK cast members?

Thanks a ton for looking and the post! Yeah was just gonna leave the wind portion clear base, but felt like I needed something 3D to fill it out more. I am planning on adding to this group.

What about a clear marble with white swirls to look like the air spheres they sometimes make? Otherwise, gorgeous custom. I may need to plagerize it for my own collection!
