This is great news. I've always thought he'd make a great Joe, years before there was ever even rumors of a G.I. Joe movie. But I always thought he would make a great Flint. Joseph Colton will do though.

OK, I'm going to have my doubts about this movie right up until I see it, but if Willis is in I'm buying a ticket. Sorry.

i'm on board with bruce in the movie. i think it's cool that the rock is roadblock as long as he doesn't say can you smell what the roadblock is cookin. what i'm not down with is the pretty boys they let play in g.i.joe. everytime i watch it duke makes me sick that actor belongs on the cover of a magazine not in an action movie. well we'll have to wait and see. i called the first movie g.i.joe thr rise of crap will we have to put up with g.i.joe reduced to a joke.

I don't quite get why pretty boys can't be in action movies. Are you implying that there are no pretty boys in the service? Does a guy's looks imply what he can or can not do in combat? If that's the case, we're in for some real trouble out here in the 'Stan because we have plenty of pretty boys doing the real GI Joe stuff each and every day.

And I have a feeling this Bruce role will be about as large as his Expendables role.

I like Bruce. I think he will be a good addition to the cast.

That is pretty unrealistic since some gritty action stars are handsome - something I am assuming because there are women who go gaga over stars like the The Rock. I also think it isn't fair since it seems that your assumption of pretty guys are guys who do not fit the 80s action hero steotype. The roles of action stars have changed since the 90s. Before, you would probably have someone like Stallone in movies. Nowadays it is Johnny Depp.
