  1. im jk, honestly i haven't kept up on how this line is doing, ive seen a few at retail but passed...im burnt out i guess. Its probably gonna take the snow trooper or biker scout to get my juices flowing again. I thought maybe slave leia would do it but the excitement hasnt kicked in yet. Maybe even the new movies will get me going again or a new big vehicle. Im glad though ppl are excited about this line...and its hanging in there. I've been the same way Romadon. I'm a huge Sar Wars collector, and I just assumed I'd be all over these, but...I don't know what it is. I only got my first one last night for a Christmas present, and it's Han. I took my time and thought I picked-out the one in the bunch with the best paint job, but when I got home and took a closer look, the flesh paint on his neck was sloppy in the back and on the sides. My issues have been the paint problems I guess. For this to be the be-all-end-all of Star Wars action figure lines, I've not been too impressed with the paint. I've just got a feeling though, were I to open my Han and check it out loose, I suspect I'd be in love with this line. what really has me thinking is when the new movies come out, are we gonna have two lines 6" and 3/4"equally represented.....i dont think i can support two lines, will 3/4 line take a back seat to the 6" line in terms of resources allocated to one line over the other. Is hasbro even gonna make 3/4" figures for the new movies, or just 5 pts of articulation style figures just for the movies. Do i buy these 6" figures, then only to see later a re-releases of these figures on vintage style packaging.
  2. They revealed a 6" Biker Scout w/ Speederbike earlier this year for 2014. Really? I heard rumors about this being the plan, but never saw actual photos or was it just an announcement? If so, this is one i have to pickup.

  4. 300 is too much, i can see them dropping it back to 250$ next black friday, maybe $200 and even then , that might not sell.
  5. I heard the mattycollector forum is really sensitive and ban ppl pretty quick...as far as the org, i don't post much there or here, but I often read the forums, and the org has plenty of ppl who call out scott, Mattel, DR and its practices on a regular basis.
  6. Speaking of BBTS they have Ram-Man up for Preorder at $59.00 That's not a bad price for cherry-pickers, especially if Ram-man and jitsu are the only figures you want.
  7. heads up for those living in the chicagoland area...JUST found WAVE 3 at Walmart in countryside, IL...scored 3 cobra troopers (renegades) and 2 techno-vipers!!!
  8. 7 skystrikers at Target, Broadview, IL.
  9. man where do i start... USS Flagg Terrordome Mobile Command Center Defiant Wolverine Shockwave figure Vamp I and II
  10. Both are coming out very soon but I'm sure you knew that Lol yes i did notice that.... last yr, i was really tempted to buy them off e-bay but when they announced they would re-issue He-man & skeletor I felt the chances of them re-releasing the other figures i missed would be pretty good. from reading the boards....it seems the most F'd up part of this whole process...is the cart and production numbers. ppl get their item in the cart then at check out its sold out....that's like walking into a store and another customer grabbing ur Sh$t out of ur cart and running off with it. this isn't a post to defend matty, but i'm confident almost every figure will get multiple releases...not sure about some of the bonus figures like Zodak, which i didn't buy, but now i regret.
  11. I can understand the frustration of waiting each month, sitting by your pc for an hr, only to miss out on a figure u really wanted and then have to wait another month for another great figure hoping this won't again only for it to happen once again. I jumped in on this line when they released Zodac...i've lucked out so far even with Trap-Jaw, Battle Cat, Adora and Mossman. I held my ground against going on ebay to buy He-man, Skeletor, Beastman, and Stratos....I manage buy them all as re issues for $20 each... i only need faker and Mer-man. hopefully my luck continues. I hope matty corrects the production numbers soon cause right now they r only encourgaing scalpers to feed off this line and screw all the real fans out of figures. for now, i would try to pre order off another site or wait for the re issue if u miss out on the orginal release date...stay away from ebay.
  12. I just saw the dcVSmotu at Toy'R us...i passed on them.... I'm against He-man going retail. what matty needs to do is fix their webpage so buying isn't such a pain in the ares... and maybe bump the prodution number up a bit.
  13. this is great..all the figs i missed out on last yr have been re-released, getting stratos, Mer-man and faker. I wonder if they will re-release Zodak (bonus figure)? He looks way better than zodac.
  14. i'll wait till mattel comes out with some new and improved stands. they really need to fix those ankle joints.
