So, we got to see some of the new figures and vehicles sets that will be coming out next year at Toyfair. I was a little uncertain, though, about the identity of one of the characters pictured. Was this guy the Steeler that's meant to come with the mini-tank, or is it a new, non-giant-headed Breaker that comes with the R.A.M.?

I mean, he has Steeler's shoulder holster, but that's about it. For one thing, he;s missing Steeler's most iconic attribute, his visor/image intensifiers, and considering how closely the line has hewn to the original costumes and colors, he's not even close. He's even pictured on the R.A.M. in the showroom pictures, the vehicle we know is supposed to come with a Breaker.

Just a thought, and maybe a little wishful thinking. I wouldn't mind a non-hydrocephalic Breaker, and the original Steeler was always one of my favorites.

WHat makes you say Breaker is supposed to come with the RAM? THe RAM didn't come with any figure originally.

I wouldn't get your hopes up that this is any one other than Steeler.

At the Toy Fair Hasbro said the RAM would have Breaker. The Armadillo and Trouble Bubble did not come with fugures originally either. Also the Ait Chariot will have a diferent Serpentor.

That was Steeler shown at TF.

Well, if that's Steeler, I hope he at least gets his visor, if not something approaching his original color scheme.

Unless they rerelease the M.O.B.A.T. with a more accurate Steeler. That I could live with.

i realy think thats breaker as on the box art of the ram its breaker riding it. if thats steeler thats another one that they dropped the ball on.

Since the head does not seem to be the same one used for the comic book 2 pack Breaker (although since I have yet to come across a Destro/Breaker comic pack yet I can not say for certain ) the thought that had crossed my mind is that it might be Sparks

The figure in question is pictured with the Armadillo but they don't say the figures name. I think that is Steeler. If you look at the caption under the image with the Ram set it says comes with Breaker but no picture of the figure.

The figure in question IS Breaker, not Steeler (unfortunately). I called a friend of mine(GIJoe Design team) the night that figure was shown b/c I was confused about it as well. He said it was infact Breaker.

Breaker was wrongfully placed in the picture w/ the Armadillo and Air Chariot, just as the original HISS Tank is shown but it will actually be an all black DTC version w/ Rip It.

I don't know if your right about the Breaker figure being in the wrong picture, but according to TNI and Hasbro you are wrong about the Hiss.

Who to believe, who to believe?

I choose to believe that is a new Breaker. While I like the currently released one, what with his bubble and all, I would love a better proportioned version. And I would really love a more accurate Steeler.

I wonder if the Serpentor will be the much-requested classic Serpentor?

Yeah, I guess, with the exception of the sleeves and brown boots he's pretty close, and I'm sure he'll bet the visor. I always did like his black gloves, but I don't want to end up sounding like one of those Flint-bashers.

Yeah for the original HISS tank. I know TARGET is releasing a blue one but I'd much rather have the original in black. I'd buy the DTC version but not unless Hasbro actually puts a working rear access door on the back of it like they originally planned.

So, Steeler's taken a step down, tankwise (is that a word?). He get's the little bity Armadillo. Aw, how cute. Seems like a waste for a guy that's supposed to be THE tank guy on the team. Oh well. I'll probably still get the set if only for Serpentor and his Chariot.

For Serpentor, I didn't confirm it today but was said at TF that he would be a more in tune with his classic look.

I'm sure that I heard during Toy Fair Serpentor with Air Chariot will be the same as the single carded version. Plus that classic Serpentor is coming. They never said how or where classic Serpentor would come out. I suspect classic Serpentor would be in the Arise Serpentor Arise pack.

I just hope Steeler doesn't get those aweful Duke arms.
