Croc Master looks disappointing

Oh man, no kidding... Is this the picture we saw at the convention? I was so excited to see everything I may have missed some details. That head does NOT work!

Im not sure if croc is coming in this pack or was and it was changed or what. The Croc at the con was a single carded version and is different from what is shown here. What I need to try and get clarification is will the Desert set come with 2 Crimsoon Guard figures as shown at the con or 1 guard and a repainted croc master.

My guess is it will be the 2 guards and the images shown here were older pr images that someone forgot to update before sending them out.

This could explain a lot about why I was confused when I read the articles and looked at the pictures. The article stated that these were 7-packs, and while the arctic pack had 7 inside, the desert pack only shows 6 inside, with 7 on the back. I think they're still putting the final touches on what exactly is going to be in the desert pack.

Entertainment Earth now has the COBRA troop-builder packs up for pre-order as well, for the same prices that BBTS has them for coincidentally, and EE's description of the Desert Assault Squad lineup is:

5x Cobra Desert Assault Squad (Cobra Flamethrower Trooper, 2x Desert Crimson Guard, Hostile Environment Specialist Cobra Trooper, Major Bludd, Explosives Expert Cobra Trooper, and Cobra Officer)

Entertainment Earth Listing

So I think it's safe to say that the Croc Master image is bogus.

Out of all the pics, the Crock (a sh@#) Master, was the one I was going to comment on, and about how AWFUL it looked compared to the one shown at the convention. Seems we're all on the SAME page here. I probably don't need to comment further. ^_^

Wasn't the one at the con grouped with the Wave 10 figures though?

I don't think this is the version of Croc Master that they'll be giving us.

I see 2 things happening here:

1 - This was a mistake on Hasbro's part, and this figure won't be in the Desert Pack, and we'll get another Crimson Guard in the set, and the single-carded Croc Master shown at the con.

2 - We will be getting this figure in the Desert pack, AND the single carded version shown at the con. (Why else would they show it if we weren't getting it?)

BBTS has updated their website with the correct lineup for the Desert Assault Squad and it does not include that horrible kitbashed Croc Master.

New Listing

The image of the set has been updated that includes a second desert camo CG.

So everyone who still wants Croc Master (myself included) will just have to pick him up when he's released on single card in September, which by the way is a much better figure then that frankensteined piece of junk that was on the BBTS and TNI websites.

I love the Desert pack. All of the figures are winners except the Barbecue Viper. And even he looks cool, but way too much like Barbecue. They needed to do some more frankensteining on him. I am sure that the set will include the two CGs because thats what the box art had. Croc Master would be entirely too odd in this set. But the single card version is AMAZING.

The Arctic pack doesn't do as much for me. 3 Snow Serpents? I kinda already have enough of those. One of them has different colors, so thats cool though. The Viper with Copperhead's legs sucks. He has bare arms!!! for the Arctic!!! stupid. And he is fugly. The other viper is cool, I like his colors, but he doesn't look like an "arctic" trooper. In fact, only 4 of these figures (the 3 Snow Serpents and Televiper) look like they could survive in the arctic.
