It's just an accessory that comes with a new figure who already has more accessories than most of the figures in this line. It's not something I'm really excited about, but I don't see how it's a bad thing.

I like the new story for the 200X sword (though it's not really new; this was the Four Horsemen's idea for the 200X sword all along, if I understand correctly), and I'm glad they've given it a deserved place in the MOTUC canon. Plus, this helps the people who want or prefer 200X He-Man to get just a little closer to that. And King Grayskull looks way cooler with the bigger 200X power sword than the regular power sword.

Even before Webstor was announced, there were too many villains. I was kind of surprised they chose another villain for September. They've definitely gone overboard. They better go with heroes for October, November, December, and maybe January just for good measure.

Hopefully we'll get Skeletor's swords with someone else (or with a re-release Skelly).

No way, can never have enough villains. Heroes are better when their out numbered...lol. Besides we are getting Man-at-arms and He-Ro in the same month plus we know Teela is this year(we are getting a female and it has to be her or lynn, im guessing her) and I would bet She-Ra will be in Jan (since we know a POP figure was pushed back until next year). All I know is I really want my Trapjaw before the year is up. I will just keep hoping we wont get a Mechaneck, man I hate that character, but im sure he will no doupt show next year.

Good Guys
King Grayskull
He-Man
Stratos
He-Ro
Man At Arms
Teela
Bad Guys
Beast Man
Skeletor
Faker
Mer-Man
Hordak
Tri-Klops
Webstor
Neutral
Zodac
see... it's not as unbalanced as it seems. the issue i see most folks copping to is that KG and he-ro aren't regular continuity... but, they are nonetheless releases who would stand on the side of good. the balance isn't bad. if we get one more of each to fill out the year, i feel pretty satisfied.
BTW, the horsemen indicated on their chatboards that this version of the 200X power sword has some sublte differences from each of the previous versions released, so whether you have 200X he-man or the staction, you don't have THIS version of the sword. i think that's awfully nice of them.

But to be honest, this truly doesn't surprise me considering that villains do out number heroes as far as the core
MOTU characters are concerned. Perhaps Mattel is just thinning out the ranks, its possible that atleast one more
hero might make a 2009 release, but I wager that 2010 will be hero heavy, which if they tap into POP it will be.
If Mattel insist on just releasing villains for the remainder of 2009 then I hope they do some obscure or never
before released character.

Thanks for clarifying that. I'm going to assume that at least one of them will
possibly be Teela she's the most obvious choice at this point, however I wonder who
the 2nd one is, hopefully an obscure character.

I also assume Teela will be one of them. And with the 8-back being complete with her release, I'm curious to see who the other good guy will be. Will they branch out in a big way after the 8-back, or will they stick closer to original release order? I'd also prefer someone obscure just to remind everyone that this line is all-encompassing and not a straight rehash of the '80s releases.

Plus the hassle of triple charging my credit card for one-day shipping is just annoying. I don't trust Matty's economy shipping due to the other people's horror stories and ordered Merman and Faker with rush delivery.
